Privacy Policy for Math Alpha

Math Alpha (“we”, “us”, “the app”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Math Alpha collects, how it is used, and your choices. Math Alpha is a free, ad-supported educational application designed to help users learn mathematics and generate worksheets.

Information we do NOT collect remotely

Math Alpha does not collect personally-identifiable information from users such as your email address, phone number, or account credentials and transmit them to our servers. The app functions without requiring a cloud-based account.

Local Data & User Input

Some features of Math Alpha allow you to enter information, such as:

• Student Name & School Name: Used solely for customizing the PDF Worksheets you generate.
• Quiz History & Scores: Stored to track your progress.

Important: All such data is stored locally on your device within the application's internal database (SQLite). We do not have access to this data, and it is not uploaded to any external server.

Device Permissions (PDF Generation)

To function correctly, Math Alpha may request the following permissions:

• Storage Access (Read/Write External Storage): This permission is required specifically for the "Create PDF" and "Worksheet Generate" features. It allows the app to save the math worksheets you create to your device so you can share or print them.

Information collected by third parties (Ads & Analytics)

Math Alpha uses third-party services to display advertisements and improve app performance. These services (specifically Google AdMob) may collect the following types of information:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID / Android ID) — used to serve and measure advertisements.
• Analytics and diagnostics — anonymous usage information such as crash reports, device model, OS version, and performance metrics to help us fix bugs.

We do not control the full data collection practices of ad providers. Please refer to their privacy policies for more details.

Ads & Personalization

Math Alpha displays ads using the Google AdMob network. Ads may be personalized based on device identifiers. If the app is used by children, or if you have opted out of personalization in your device settings, non-personalized ads may be shown. We do not use ad data to create user profiles beyond what the ad providers do.

Children's Privacy

Math Alpha is an educational tool suitable for students. We comply with applicable laws regarding children's privacy.

• We do not knowingly collect personal contact information from children online.
• Any data entered (like a Student Name for a worksheet) remains on the device.
• The ad networks we use are configured to comply with Google Play's Families Policy.

Data Security

Data transmitted by third-party ad SDKs is sent securely over HTTPS. Local data (scores, history) is stored securely on your device's internal storage.

Your Choices

You can:

• Disable personalized ads at the device level via Android Settings > Google > Ads.
• Clear the app's local data (History/Scores) via your Android App Settings (Clear Storage).
